No would be my one sound response, but it wouldn’t be the correct answer all for everyone. Having planned on purchase a couple of the newer Beta58′s, I didn’t like the sound of them nearly as all right as the ElectroVoice N/D767. Works great all for my ex, and 10 years on she’s still using them.Personally I love the Sennheiser 845, which aced the 835 when I had hopes of buying the less expensive model. My ears told me to buy the 845, and I’ve been very contented with them, until they in turn got replaced with the incredible Auditory Technica AE6100, which I’ve been using for about 5 years now.Most new addition for me has been the Heil PR35, and what a transparent, delicate, condenser-like sound. What I liked about the AE6100, I like even more in the PR35, although I’ve but to make ascending my mind as to which will take full time stage use.Response to this post.
